Pam is the proud Mom to three amazing kids, an English bulldog and a Pug, and a Grandma to 1 so far....family means everything to her!
She has lived her whole life around Lake Superior, first Duluth, Minnesota until 1997 when she moved to the Hurley, WI/Ironwood, MI area.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota in 1993, she also completed master's courses and received an Early Educational Needs/Special Education Credential in 2006.
Her Photography has been almost completely self taught, she has been a Manager for Sears Portrait Studios, Walmart Portrait Studios both in Duluth, Minnesota and has since starting her own business in 2011, studied with Internationally Known Wedding Photographer Julie Paisley of Nashville, Tennessee as well as Tim Cooper, National Landscape Photographer and Adobe Lightroom Instructor. She also learns by teaching others through her workshops, concept shoots and collaborations with other local artists.
A hunger for travel, fun, creativity and light are all involved in Pam's work. Weddings, Newborns, Seniors and Commercial Events are her specialties. She adores and loves all things great and small. Volunteering is also a big passion, and she's been involved with her communities for SISU Ski fest, Iron County UW-Extension, Paavo Nurmi Marathon, and Renaissance Festivals.
She lives in a tiny Historic Northern Wisconsin Mining Town named Montreal, and has the "Pinterest" front porch and enjoys 4 seasons of full time work as a photographer. From waterfalls to huge enchanting forests, farms and fields of flowers, barn weddings to elegant ballrooms, little tiny newborn smiles to 95 year old cakesmashes..she's been a busy gal!
When she doesn't have a camera, you may find her kayaking, camping, snowshoeing, hugging a manatee and snorkeling, watching a good Bigfoot or Ghost Hunter special as well as catching a good sunset around a campfire and working on her bucket list.
